Good spot, would stay again

Handy location, easy to get to and from the bus station and port. The bed spaces were comfy, they had a shelf, light, plug and a curtain. There was plenty of space in the locker for my suitcase. I didn't use the kitchen or shared spaces but they looked clean and useable. The vibes felt good, I had a couple chats with roommates, everyone was friendly

The shower situation had two showers in one cubicle which was kind of weird to me?? Tbh i just locked the whole thing and had a quick shower

Disappointing hostel with bug bites

Besides the good location and the roof terrace, nothing in particular.

After the first night, I discovered some bites on my neck, which looked like they could be bed bugs. I kept discovering new bites for the next few days in different spots around my body after leaving the hostel, but ended up getting rid of these over the course of a week, so not sure what they were exactly (probably not bed bugs, but the bites looked very similar to those -- some of them were in straight lines). Moreover, the air conditioning was going at full speed in the middle of the room, and even with the curtains, I almost got a cold from the cold air. I understand that otherwise it would be too hot in the room, but there sure are better ways to ventilate. I would not stay here again.

Locker didn’t work and it was broken as a consequence I’ve lost some of my stuff Room was ok but not very comfortable the locker on the door also didn’t work On the ladies shower guys also were showering

short stay in the city centre

The location is very central, a small park nearby. That used to be a good hostel in the past. Some staff were nice. The kitchen is small but has almost all facilities. The locker spaces are big, but some are designed in the way that they can't be locked, need to be fixed before used and bigger locks need to be used.

The management can't be reached. The contact number sent to me was not operational. Some hostel staff were unable to resolve issues, so it needs to be repeated to the other shift. The impression is that it used to be a good hostel in the past but later the management started caring less about it. The locker spaces are big, but some are designed in the way that they can't be locked, need to be fixed before used and bigger locks need to be used. They are doing refurbishment now , and the use of facilities is limited, such as two out of five toilets being repaired, and the roof space is full of dust and other construction effects, reducing, therefore, the quality of stay. Presently, the value of money is not good, so they have to reduce the accommodation rate until the end of the refurbishment

Very nice staff, helpful, very central location but expensive for what was being offered.

Good location, very central.

I arrived the first day they opened yet they really shouldn't have been open as they were still doing lots of remodeling, painting, bathrooms not finished. I was very surprised they had opened with all the construction going on. On top of that, it was the most expensive place I stayed in. I stayed in other places on the island that were much nicer for 20-30 euros less.

Had an amazing time

This was my first solo trip as an adult and I had some of the best fun I’ve ever had! The hostel was so cute and lovely to hang out in, the staff were particularly friendly and welcoming I will definitely be coming back to this specific hostel

Convenient location it was very good , couple hundred metres to one of the main streets. I had a short stay in less than 12 hours , I didnt get time to see everything

I had a private room with a private bathroom and it was excellent. The location is close to the city centre and the waterfront and I hung out with other fellow travellers playing cards one evening. The hostel enabled a good mix of solitude and being social!

Great hostel!

Really enjoyed the location as it’s in the city center and close to bus stops if you want to get around to the beaches. The rooms are nice and the staff was super lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Typical hostel, young crowd.

Bed was comfy, the hostel was clean.

Showers very small and cramped, not much space to put your toiletries while showering. No hanging space for wet towels/clothes. Rooms very large, other guests awake all night and early morning.

One of the most charming hostels I've ever visited.

The best hostels have their own "spirit" or character that makes staying in them enjoyable, over and above the benefit of saving money. This hostel definitely had that, with helpful staff, well-appointed community facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The power outlet over my bunk was a little hard to reach, but this was not a major issue.

Perfect location for getting around the old town in Heraklion, clean modern room with a nice bathroom. Very tidy, well-appointed kitchen with drinkable tap water from one of the taps (they advise not to drink Heraklion's tap water). Really nice value for money, was very quiet because of the time of year.

Amazing place for socializing and vibing with other travellers

Amazing staff: they would operate the rooftop lounge/bar and creat a fun, vibrant and communicative vibe between guests. They were also very helpful in coordinatimg hikes, car rentals and will help get around the city generlly. Also they were almost always available in their working hours.

The "hot" water in the shower is lukewarm at best and the water pressure is weak. The kitchen could have had more available towels which would make things much easier and smoother. Bathrooms are kinda minimal and crowded. Lockers are not very comfortable.

Near city center and in a quiet street. Modern and clean. The staff was very nice. The rooftop is great and big. The dormitory was well cleaned every day.

A machine noise during the night which made is not so easy to sleep. There was plastic to cover the mat which made also not so easy to sleep because of the noise when we move.
