Location was great - walkable distance from the center. Host was very helpful and easy to reach.

This is a classic, old-style Italian apartment that offers a very authentic experience, though it comes with the typical drawbacks of older buildings. While the stay had its merits, there are several things future guests should be aware of regarding comfort and noise. The Interior & Amenities The apartment consists of two rooms and a small kitchenette. However, the kitchen area is quite cramped and lacks a proper space to sit down and eat. The bathroom is where the "old-school" feel is most apparent—the bathtub uses a curtain that didn't feel particularly fresh, and the floor mats/towels seen in the photos were a bit questionable in terms of cleanliness. Noise & Sleep Quality This was the biggest challenge of the stay. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared: Street Noise: The windows are old and offer very little sound insulation. Since it’s Italy, the street life is vibrant and loud, and you will hear everything. The "Airport" Effect: The plumbing and water heaters (boilers) in this and neighboring apartments are incredibly loud. Every time someone nearby uses hot water, it sounds like a jet engine taking off. It can be quite startling and makes sleeping through the night difficult. Location & Communication The highlight of this property is definitely the logistics. Position: An easy 20-minute walk to the city center. Communication: The host was excellent—responsive, helpful, and very professional, which is a hallmark of Italian hospitality. Verdict In short, this is a different standard of living than what some might expect from a modern "3-star" equivalent. While the location and the host's communication are top-tier, the aging infrastructure and high noise levels are significant downsides. I’m giving it an 8 because the location and service were great, but don't expect a quiet, modern sanctuary.

The host was very patient and responsive! I’m not the smartest traveler so they were able to answer every question or concern I had. The booking convenient and is very close to a bus stop that goes to Piazza Majore.

Appartement bien situé pour une arrivée par le train. Bus à proximité pour le centre-ville. Les 2 chambres sont correctes mais le reste de l’appartement laisse à désirer au niveau propreté.

Personne n’était présent à l’arrivée pour donner la clé de l’immeuble comme convenu et pas atteignable au tf. Avons dû attendre 45 minutes l’arrivée d’autres locataires.
