Punctuality in river cruises, meal times and even transport (back to Sandakan)! Nora at the reception was especially helpful with enquiries.

My accommodation was at the cluster of 5 huts just outside the main entrance (pathway). It was super hot during the day, sauna-like due to its zinc sheet enclosed walls and rooftop- need to turn on aircon to the coldest, ceiling fan to the max strength for up to 20mins to cool down to acceptable comfort level. Another big issue was when the adjacent room was occupied; the floor vibrations, shaking and trembling from even normal pacing by neighbouring guests in the room was amplified and unbearable at night! Fortunately, the adjacent room was occupied only on the last night of my stay.

the tours are amazing , we saw a lot of wild animals , our tour Guide was Amazing, delicious food and awesome environment.

Nice place to stay in the rainforest, right by the river and more creature comforts than expected for the location. 2 issues though... 1. Took me 3 days to get a response from their WhatsApp (called and messaged). I didn't get a reply until I was in town at the airport (stuck) with no info on their shuttle transfer which is included in their package. It wasn't until I literally said "guess this number is deactivated?" that I got a response. It costed me 200 RM though for a taxi because I wouldve been at the airport an additional 8 hours waiting for their once daily shuttle. 2. Paying at the end was awkward Package was 600...I paid 200 up front... that = 400 balance. They kept saying 480 which i wouldve happily paid if anyone could explain why it increased? Took 3 people talking to each other over 24 hours to get back to me. They kept saying "what're you wanting pay?" And I kept saying im not looking for a discount. Im just not understanding your inability to complete a simple math equation and essentially turning this is in to an ask for a discount. It was very uncomfortable. If you book with them, get everything in writing. No one has a clue about pricing and no one communicates with the customer or within their own staff. Its very bizarre.
