Haus Sathorn 21 Bed and Breakfast

Fantastic small and quiet B&B hotel located in a lane way off the main street around 4-5 min walk from the BTS. Rooms were basic but super clean, modern and comfortable. Ladies there are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great, you choose what type of meal you want (e.g. i chose scrambled eggs which comes with bread, sausage (or you can substitute if you dont eat meat) and some fruit on the side with juice and coffee.

The stairs are very steep and not ideal if you have a heavy bag. There usually isn't anyone around to help you with the bag as its a small hotel. Not a huge issue, just FYI. Also Saphin Taksin station does NOT have a lift, so I had to drag my heavy bag down multiple stairs. My advice is to get off one stop before at Surasak BTS which does have a lift and walk around 8 mins to the hotel.

Great location, quiet street, staff were friendly, and the room was sparkling clean (except the ants). I was pleased that the room had a bathroom, fridge, and kettle. The a/c was effective and didn't smell.

The room is quite small and there was no furniture to put my bag onto. As a consequence, the ants found it - although I didn't have any food in my bag they were interested. It would have been nice to have a small piece of furniture to be able to have my bag off of the ground.

The location is great, near everything but still in a peaceful alley. Also near other important parts of Bangkok with a cheap grab ride. Room not too spacious but perfect for solo travelers or couples. Bed is wide, the shower and everything works great in the room. Having the balcony also makes it better, even if you aren't a smoker. AC, fridge, kettle all work fine. Breakfast is good, more than enough. And the best, the staff is super kind and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean room, nice chair in room, good location close to sky train and to boats along the river, also shopping centre close by. In a quiet side street.

No elevator/lift, room was small, always a few mosquitos in the room despite keeping the windows and doors shut. Bed was very high off the floor and very firm. Breakfast area was hot with not enough seating for all guests, breakfast was also cheap and low quality - menu displayed croissants, yogurts etc none of which were provided instead got cheap white sliced bread and cheerios, no milk for the coffee only provided if you selected cheerios off the menu, jam for toast was in reused jars. Sausages were cooked for less than 60 seconds in the pan and were poor quality highly processed. After seeing the photo of croissants as one of the breakfast options and selecting this i didn't receive any croissants and when asked where were the croissants I got given funny awkward looks as if it was unrealistic and unreasonable to actually expect to receive what is in the picture on the menu. Basically you pay for the location of this place, everything else is done cheaply.
