Thilina and his family were extremely warm and welcoming. The house is situated in the middle of the jungle and you wake up with a lot of bird calls. Thilina's wife showed us how to cook traditional Sri Lankan food and Thilina told us a lot about Sri Lankan culture and the people. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, you are right. And there is much more to do than Pidurangula or Sigiriya rock, so make sure to plan two or three nights! We only stayed one night and regret it.

This is not like any other place we have stayed at before. You are welcomed into a lovely Sri Lankan family with Thilina, his wife and his parents. From the first moment we arrived, Thilina made us feel welcome. The room and bathroom was clean. The outdoor area was chill and comfy, and right next to the jungle with a lot of exciting wildlife. We felt very safe and taken care of. I would reccomend this to anyone (no 5 star hotel can top this). We even decided to stay one extra night. Ps. The food was too good to even describe it. Must experience.

Tilina an Ayona are very kind and helpfull people. Very Nice room. Great environment. The food was also very good We deffenetly like to come back.
