About this house rental
Enjoy this renovated 3 bedroom 2.5 bath duplex with outside shower. Very flexible checkin/out times offered in offseason! Brand new kitchen and living space with hardwood floors through out bring luxury to the beach. Granite counter tops and large farm dining table complete the functional space. The outdoor space is an added bonus with a screened in porch off the living area and large 2nd floor deck facing the street. Steps to the beach and local restaurants round out this fantastic rental. Large bedrooms with closets and dressers makes this rental property feel like home. 2 guaranteed parking spaces make unloading a breeze. Street parking available with pass or Park Mobile. Large shed and 8 backpack beach chairs added in 2021.
Outside shower and foot washing station provided to limit sand getting into home. Consciousness guests only please. Excess sand ruins pipes, sliding glass doors, carpeting, ability to clean homes efficiently in allotted time.
Owner and assistant reside within area making issues or repairs solvable within hours.
No more than 7 guest! Do not use couches for sleeping.
June - August Rentals are Saturday to Saturday only 7 day required. Off season weekly rentals are Friday to Friday, discounts for reservations over 7 days in offseason: 23DeweyBeach Leigh

The house was perfect for our family of five - grandparents, parents and toddler, plus our two beagles. We really appreciated the proximity to the beach and the beach provisions - chairs, umbrella, toys and wagon. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house was close to everything that Dewey offers. Thanks for a great stay!

The house is beautiful and close to the beach. Abundant kitchen supplies for cooking or eating in, and also tons of beach supplies (chairs, wagons, buckets/pails). Family friendly, the only items we didn't think to bring that would have been helpful were kitchen towels, hand towels for the bathroom, and extra trash bags.

My family stayed for one week. There was a mix up at the beginning. There was a leak in the ceiling which understandably had to be fixed. We were told that there may be painters in the house when we arrived. I appreciated the warning, but the message was written after check in time. It would have been nice to have more of a heads up. The painters didn’t cover any of the furniture and left dust all over the place. I cleaned the furniture and two floors upon arrival. The owner was apologetic and did provide a small refund for the inconvenience. Some of the doors either didn’t close all the way or were very difficult to close and secure. Although not a huge issue, it made the temperature difficult to regulate. The location was great. We had a two minute walk to the beach. It was right in downtown Dewey.
