La Villa de Victor Kigomani

We had a truly wonderful stay at Victor Villa on beautiful Kiwengwa Beach in Zanzibar. The scenery is breathtaking, and waking up to the peaceful sight of cows walking along the beach was such a unique and unforgettable experience. Its location near Kiwengwa Island also makes it a perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious and prepared with great care. This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. We are deeply grateful for the experience and the beautiful memories we created. We wholeheartedly recommend Victor Villa to anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable stay by the sea in Zanzibar. We would happily return!

When visiting Zanzibar, it is important to come with an open mind and understand that it is different from highly developed tourist destinations. Its true charm lies in its simplicity, unspoiled and generous nature, and the incredible warmth and kindness of its people. Internet service can occasionally be slow, power cuts may happen occasionally, and water pressure can sometimes be low. These are island-wide infrastructure challenges—not shortcomings of the villa. They did not meaningfully affect our enjoyment of the trip.

You feel welcome from the very first moment of your stay. Neema is a super star, she anticipates every need throughout your stay. Pauline and Didier are super hosts!

The beach in front of the villa is clean, the sand is beautiful and there’s plenty of vibe. But it’s not the pristine waters you dream of when thinking about Zanzibar. You can enjoy the low and high tide every 6 hours. The reef is amazing and alive, you can take a walk through the sea urchins and discover a beautiful reef world full of life. Plenty of star fish, octopus and often dolphins swimming across.

The sea front room was amazing and really spacious with nice furniture. NEMA and PAULETTE (the owner) were extremely amicable.

The location was a bit remote, not easy if you don’t have a car (we did have a car) but in the exact spot where the dolphins can be seen.

Beautiful house, very nicely decorated, very clean, nicely furnished, amazing sea view with direct beach access, good food.

Pool is very small, wifi is slow. Host was very rude, can't even mention it publicly. Toilet was lacking water, the bathroom always had a wet floor.
