Scarlett's by Salamanca

The location was spectacular with a view of the water. They had left the heater on to walk into a warm space in the middle of winter. That's appreciated. Being a coffee lover, I was impressed that they had pre-grown coffee and coffee beans with a coffee grinder and a stove top coffee maker for two. At least a dozen cereal options all available to us at our wim. Having a cute little balcony. Big enough fir a two chairs and a table with a water view .Battery point is a spectacular historical suburb with beautifully maintained historical houses. It it reminds me of East Melbourne but even closer to the CBD. Being on top of the hill, walking down to Salamanca was a great way to start your day. I look forward to going back to Hobart and to staying at Scarlets by Salamanca.

I feel guilty to say that I would have loved a bath but the shower we had was well maintained and clean. I also would have liked an espresso machine but I think I'm being a bit greedy.

The location was amazing, we needed a kitchen having a baby with us and it was well equipped, there was plenty of linens for our stay, property was clean and the host carol gave very clear instructions for anything requiring them.

We have no complaints or dislikes about the property. There is no lift to the apartment but we were expecting this and the stairs were not challenging ones. There are some hills on the return from Salamanca but again it is very manageable for even basic fitness levels.

The location is excellent ,it’s within walking distance to Salamanca Market, which was super convenient. One of the rooms even has a direct sea view, which was amazing. The kitchen was very well-equipped and spotless. The host was also very generous, providing a wide variety of cereals for breakfast as well as plenty of basic condiments. I really loved the hand wash and shampoo they provided. I even took photos so I can buy them online later.

One of the room has a fold-out sofa bed, which was a bit less comfortable compared to the other bed.
