The comfiest bed ever

The bed and pillows were soooooo comfy. Everything was super clean. All basic needs plus extras like a few xmas chocs and bottled water. Plenty of on street parking. Warm welcome.

It was a tad warm for me. But im used to sleeping with windows open. Not a complaint

Great City Centre Access

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a good shower. Small kitchen available.

The bed was a little soft. The toilet made a loud noise when used.

A great room.

The location was great, the room was warm and very clean. Nice deep bath but not very long. Extra heating. Use of a fully functioning kitchen. Owner was very polite and nice. Even brought me some chocolates. Big TV and modern furniture. Clean ironed sheets. Plenty of storage. Lots of good pillows.

The mattress was sprung and I could feel the springs. It didn't stop me from sleeping but it wasnt the best. The bed was quite low too. The bath could be longer so you can actually lay down, im 5 foot and had to sit. Knees and Tiddies werent covered.but it was deep. The towels were a bit rough. The only really negative thing is it is based in a fat clinic and I got the feeling of rehab when I went in. The rooms have been decorated but you still get a feeling of a clinical room. The many ceiling spot lights are a bit much even with a dimmer. No parking apart from street parking if your lucky.

Great property, great value

Friendly staff. Lovely big room, clean and tidy. Really nice shower. Large tv in room. Not far to walk into city centre. Free Street parking. Local parks near by. Easy to get to. We would definitely recommend and we will look to stay again.

Very comfortable stay for a rest

Very spacious room with a large king bed and a couch as well. We stood one night for a special event. 30 mins walk from Cardiff Central. The stuff was very lovely and helpful. Will visit again.

Its not a hotel, but a room

The location

It’s not luxury, it’s rooms in a weight loss building that arnt being used. The heating came on for a short time, but there was an oil heater in the room, but didn’t really heat the room, sadly the bathroom was cold. The gentleman who was there was very welcoming and the chocolates were a nice touch.

Fantastic place, highly recommended

- The staff were very good, reply to phone straightforward, they were on time, they provided me with water and some sweets. - The room is very clean, quiet and comfortable, provided with tea and coffee facility, clean towels, TV and big wardrobe. - The location is good, close to large green nice park and in a walkable distance from city centre.

Basic accommodation but close to amenities.

Location very good for local cafes and the park and castle. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Plenty of mirrors in the room. Owner was friendly. Just saw him once on arrival when he welcomed us. There was working WiFi in the room.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Shower was in the bath and tricky to get in and out of. The room was cold and the central heating never came on. However an oil heater was provided. No bedside lamps and only one bedside table.

Excellent room with a great location

The room had everything we needed for our overnight stay. It was spotlessly clean, with ample storage. The location was ideal for us, for a venue that was 5 minutes walk away ( Kings Road Yard) The host was amazing, very polite, and considerate. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Best I've had for this price

I was warmly welcomed, the ensuite room had coffee, tea, kettle, 2 bottles of water, I was offered chocolates and biscuits. There was AC and a heater which was able to warm up the room and ensuite very well and quickly. The bedding smelled fresh which, in my experience is rather rare at this price. Parked right in front of the hotel. Was worried there won't be space but 17:30 there still was spaces available, free and plentiful on street parking on a rather busy main road. There's also a communal kitchen with a fridge. 10/10 would recommend for the price.

The usual "imperfections" from accommodation at this price were present - some sus stains on cupboards and bed frames, specs of mould, rust, soapscum, and Serratia marcescens. However all of these were incredibly minimal and you can easily tell they pay attention to cleaning and hygiene. None of these "imperfections" were bad and all the important parts were incredibly clean - bed sheets, toilet, sink, bathtub, floor, desk/table + coffee mugs.

Location was great. It was clean, quiet and you can park near by. Relaxed checkout time. The staff we saw were nice but only there in office hours.

Awful shower. No pressure and cold laminate floors. Needs rugs. Could do with a sign outside. Difficult to locate as it's a clinic. Would not call it luxury!

Cozy place for weekend time.

Perfect cozy place. Enough space and additional heating, because of autumn time. Warm welcome and opportunity to self checkin after 20:00. In the room some sweets for morning coffee or tea were :) Lovely place in typical old building. Recommendation to stay here!
