Ferienhaus Leuchtfeuer

Das Ferienhaus ist außergewöhnlich. Man hat wirklich das Gefühl in einem Leuchtturm zu sein. Man hatte wirklich jeden Komfort. Ein Supermarkt war gleich in der Nähe (ca. 150m). Alles in allem toll.

Sehr viele Treppen :) Aber das weiß man ja vorher. Für Fahrräder gibt es in der OG Wohnung keine Unterstellmöglichkeit. Ausserdem war zu unserer Reisezeit eine Baustelle genau ggü. Die Nacht war in der Woche um 7.30 vorbei.

The upstairs apartment allowed for a rooftop terrace which was lovely. The kitchen was very modern with all necessary appliances. There is a large bathroom with tub and separate shower and an attached sauna. Conveniently located near the steam train, grocery stores and the south beach. Communication with the owners was very clear and helpful. Of note: Resort fee includes bus passes!

I wouldn't stay at this location with large children. There was only a single bedroom and couch. The sleeping accommodations for my 2 children were a couch and a cushion bed which only worked b/c my daughter is small. This apartment is better suited to a couple or those with 1-2 smaller children.

The apartments are really nice with the light-tower look and feel. The second floor gives the third floor as the bonus with a small patio on the top. The first floor has patio just next to the (not very busy though) street, but requires to go up the stairs every time. The apartment feels very tidy and clean, everything is new. There is a shop down the street and the beach is about 10 mins walk (up and down a steep hill).

Communication with the host mainly over the phone and only in German (my own shortcoming), but finally we sorted everything out (the key was simply left in the door)! We also needed to pay extra 21 eur tax (for 3 nights I guess) by a separate bank trasfer upfront.

Great place, perfect gateway from big city, luxury facilities!!!
