Casa Martina

Casa Martina is absolutely beautiful. The location couldn’t be more perfect. It is tucked down one of the side streets which is so quiet at night but within 1 minute walk you are back in the buzzy streets of Monopoli. They very kindly sorted a lift via a golf cart from Monopoli station to the accommodation - thank you Dennis! The terrace is lovely too. Plenty of amenities, not that we used either of the kitchens!

As others have said there is multiple flights of stairs as this property is situated over 3 floors but it didn’t bother us. If you require an accessible accomodation though, this isn’t the one for you as there are no lifts.

The property was described as having a balcony and shared access to a roof terrace with views THERE was no balcony . To access the terrace you had to leave your apartment and walk around the corner. Unlock another door walk up two flights of stairs to arrive at a terrace which has the view of the surrounding walls. The pictures on booking.com do not match this accommodation. I booked it because it said it had both a balcony and a terrace with view. The company who manage this property Apulife would not communicate verbally as they didn’t speak english( on the booking.com site it says they speak Italian & English). We could only Whatapp. They refused to do anything to deal with this complaint. We were there for 6 nights This wasn’t value for money. The aircon unit in bedroom has water running out of it. The water runs through the ceiling to 5he ground floor causing damp in kitchen. I told them it was damp and smelled of damp. They were not interested. Fridge door only opened part way due to a cupboard door
