Stema Studios

The best thing about Stema studios after its location (yards from a nice quiet beach) was the family that run it. My friend and I didn't speak any Greek at all but Everipeedees and his wife were so kind to us. We came to hike mount Olympus starting from Litochoro and he drove us there himself. When we came back the next day we were very late and they were waiting up for us to see if we were okay. They left a fruit basket outside our room when we arrived. I would very much recommend this as a safe hotel for solo female travellers. It was very clean and it is right on a lovely quiet beach.

If you don't like quiet then I would stay somewhere busier but for my friend and I it was perfect, there is a large beach bar and a few cafes and a restaurant slightly down the beach and Litochoro is 10 minutes away in a taxi.

Good location, quiet, peaceful. Large balcony with great sea and mountain views, very close to the beach. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

We stayed on the top floor. The room had a very nice balcony with sea view. The bedroom had 2 double beds and was air conditioned. There was also a small single bed near the apartment entrance door. But since that part of the apartment has no air conditioning, sleeping there in summer might be a challenge. However, we didn't need that bed so there was nothing to complain about. The whole place was very clean. I am usually a very picky person but I couldn't find anything disappointing, lol. The owners are very friendly and nice. The kitchen also had all the necessary dishes and pans. Stema Studios has its own parking. And there is even a washing machine on the parking floor which is probably for the guests but we didn't need it so I never asked. The surrounding neighborhood is not very picturesque and mainly consists of small Greek holiday houses and camping areas. The sea is very clean but watch out for sea-urchins! The beach is narrow but the good thing is there aren't many people on it. So I would call it a comfortable location. There is a town of Litochoro nearby and, of course there is the Olympus Nature Resort which is definitely worth visiting! Also, there is Platamon castle nearby, which you may also visit, but there's nothing outstanding inside unfortunately.

The neighborhood is a bit shabby and dirty, but this is not the owners fault. As far as this apart hotel is concerned, everything was perfect. Good job guys! Thank you for you care and attention!

Very clean, with all needed facilities available, including a private parking under the shade. The view was also fantastic from the upper apartment. The host was always helpful and very friendly.
