Its a place where you go if all othere are full
No fire signalling, no elevator and we were 4th floor, carpet in room sticky and dirty, most furniture repaired. The place is a typical tourist money machine with young staff. Hope no fire breaks out.

The location
It needs an upgrade the rooms are miserable very basic ok just to sleep in but unbearable to be in during the day not everybody is out all day the bar and restaurant is closed alot so nowhere to get any refreshments and no kettle in room or glasses for water . My son is 6 ft and he could barely fit in the bathroom and he couldn’t fit in the shower it was very tight . The views were stunning and again the location was amazing .

The location was good and the bar and breakfast areas were good as well, although the breakfast was a bit basic but ok
Lots! Damp and mouldy wall. Fan broken in bathroom so also constantly damp. Radiator didn't work so just an electric heater in room (couldn't dry wet ski stuff on this). Only one plug so couldn't plug in heater and charge phones. Not enough hooks in rooms (should be some above heater to dry ski gear. Very disappointed with the rooms. No WiFi either

The location, the price was attracctive.
Balcony. The view form the balcony was nice.
The lady at the breakfast and dinner entrance was very friendly.
We were shocked to be asked at check-in to take the garbage with us when leaving and to remove the bed sheets and place them in a basket. This is very unusual and quite bizarre. The receptionist was not friendly.
There is no elevator. We had to carry our heavy luggage to the second floor.
The reception service is unacceptable — it operates only a few hours a day. Most of the time, the reception desk is unattended.
We ordered two separate beds but received one double bed, with an additional mattress placed above the wardrobe, accessible by a ladder. It was very uncomfortable.
The room was extremely basic. The shower and toilet are very narrow, with pink plastic walls, which gives a very low-cost feeling.
The room and the entire building lack proper, ongoing maintenance.
Wifi only on reception area not in rooms.

Location, breakfast, comfy beds
The heating in the room was not working properly as radiators needed bleeding. We were provided with additional heaters. It was inconvenient that the reception closed from 12.30-4.30pm as we couldn’t leave our bags anywhere and ski in the on the first day. We could have paid for lockers on m the town which was not so convenient.

Location
No curtains with just a drape meant limited privacy and woke up early with the light from outside
Check in from 4.30pm is too late when people are travelling. Reception should be open from 2.30 to welcome guests arriving tired and looking forward to getting rested and ready for the evening and next day

We arrive outside check in hours and we aren’t allowed to use bag storage until reception reopened in the evening. When we returned in the evening it was the same staff member that we spoke to when we arrived that unlocked the bay storage for us so not sure why they couldn’t let us use it when we arrived. Room stank of vomit. We complained and go told it was the smell of raclette from the kitchen. They sent a cleaner anyway and the cleaner said it was disgusting and there was nothing she could do. She told reception and they sent an industrial cleaner with chemicals. The smell of the chemicals was worse than the vomit and gave us nausea and prevented sleep. 1 Month later our baggage and clothes all still stink of the chemicals

the bar was OK.
A very average French Hotel, more like a hostel. Room was cold, as the radiator didn't work but got a heater from reception.
Breakfast was pretty poor but showed a massive improvement when a load of French Guests arrived.
On the last morning I had an early airport transfer at 07.10, I knocked at the dining room to ask if I could at least get a cup of coffee at about 7am and was flatly told NO, that the dining room did not open until 07.30 and I could not even have a coffee - really bad as I had paid for breakfast on the last day.

Great location.
Breakfast very good, plenty of hot water.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Mould on wall, could hear every time people close by went to the toilet.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the view are incredible. The staff are so nice and helpful and made the experience feel so homey and comfortable. The beds were comfy, everything exceeded our expectations. You will not get a better place for a better price!
The only not positive thing I can say is the wifi didn't work, which didn't really matter with the amount we were out and about!

Breakfast was ok. Rubbery scrambled eggs. Ham and Cheese nice. Juicer was good and bread was nice. Poor presentation limited choice.
Rubbery scrambled eggs, poor bacon. Limited cheese. Fruit out of date.
Bathroom tiny, noisy and claustrophobic.
Overpriced given quality of facilities and breakfast.
3.0 / 10.0
Awful beds, no fire alarms in rooms. Horrendous carpets and very dated. Thin floors so could hear other guests easily, so pretty noisy.
How dated it was, how expensive it was for what you get, having to strip beds at end of stay revealing discoloured bedding.

Great location: friendly staff; comfortable bed; good breakfast
No hot water at all on first day. After that, it was hot if you run the tap for c5 minutes. Such a waste of water!
No security in ski room. Door had code but door was usually left propped open

good location, staff are very friendly and helpful, quiet, had a ski boot room over the road, luggage storage, breakfast included a good selection, always full and hotel was great value for money. Also gave us late check out for free. only a five minute walk from Plenny gondola. room, 65 had a balcony. Rooms were basic but clean. Showers were like you’d find in a caravan/wet room.
no lift, we were six flights up. lack of reviews made us question the hotel, but since visiting, it’s a very decent hotel for two stars. Our room had one massive radiator good for drying ski gear but sounded like running water throughout the night.

Good location.
Very basic no facilities. Poor breakfast.
8.0 / 10.0
Basic good value accommodation that is all you need for an activity based holiday when you're out and about most of the day. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was fine with a good choice.
A little dated in decor terms - not a problem per se... just don't expect a modern hotel.
No lift - again not a problem for the target audience since this hotel is in an area that is for outdoor sports (you should be fit anyway)... unless of course you pick up an injury and your room is on the 5th floor.

Cheap and cheerful. The atmosphere was friendly and the breakfast was nice. Free parking.
Bit run down, but it was clean.

The room was quite spacious.
Dont stay here if you are under 65 and do not speak French. Reception had very limited opening hours (not suitable if you are skiing all day) and wifi literally only available in very small reception area. We stayed for 5 nights no room service whatsoever, and no tea making facilities or hairdryer etc in rooms. The light in our bathroom was broken and the repair man seemed to be very annoyed with us that he had to change the bulb when we met him on the stairs.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was warm and clean. Bathroom is small, but clean and shower was hot. Staff were polite and helpful and key was left for my arrival. Morzine accommodation is expensive but this accommodation is in the centre of town so comparatively speaking, it is good value for money.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very French and has lots going on with a very french theme. All that said we were made to feel welcome in the dining room and in the bar area.
not much, if the price is right I would recommend this place

good location. free parking
friendly staff though they weren’t very helpful about skiing advice
very small room. ski room is very old and no worming and drying facility for ski boots.
no one came to clean or remove rubbish during my entire stay. only one electric socket in the room

it was very central and close to all amenities. The staff were absolutely fantastic, cannot recommend them highly enough. Great breakfast.
It was basic with few amenities but this was outweighed by the attentiveness of the staff and other facilities.

room was nothing like the picture, grotty & dirty.

Big room, warm, balcony & shutters
Shower room small but adequate & plenty of hot water
Really missed being able to make a hot drink at the end of a day
