Hotel "Elesa Wera"

The location was excellent and the hotel was dead quiet despite being very central. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice to have bottled water provided since many other hotels in Georgia don't. Overall, a good experience.

We had a suite with a double room and a twin room but the twin was much more spacious than the double which seemed very odd, given this layout will usually be chosen by families with children. We only had room in the double bedroom to open up one suitcase and the other had to go in the living area. A kettle was provided but no mugs (or tea bags) which was very unhelpful and needs remedying - otherwise what is the point of the kettle?! The woman on Reception spoke little English and was not very helpful when one of our party got an electric shock when turning on the mirror light. He reported it again later to the man who spoke better English, took it much more seriously and enlisted an electrician. There was a TV constantly on (all day) in the Reception / dining area which was annoying and intrusive. We were glad that we chose to go out for breakfast.
