It was clean
Check in was bad. We had to relentlessly fend off cats, from our food, from the apartment (and I like cats!) It isn't really a bathing beach it's for wind surfing as the bay is very windy all the time. We didn't have WiFi for 5 days. There wasn't any restaurants open and the town is a 30min hike. There wasn't even the basics in the apartment like salt and pepper, so if you go take everything. Also only single cooking hot plate. No microwave or oven. Lots of slightly broken things in the apartment. Was the worst, most expensive place we stayed on crete during 8 weeks.
