A cute, well tended complex surrounded by olive trees. The house had the perfect size for 2 people, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a trip where we just wanted to explore the east coast and return to a place to sleep and to relax a bit in the olive garden.
Everything was alright, maybe if we wanted to spend more time inside the house, the living room furniture arrangement would not be that comfortable but that wasn’t the case for us. Also the cooking stove was not for much cooking.

Rustikales Apartment inmitten von Olivenbäumen, wo man den Ausblick und die Ruhe genießen kann. Der Vermieter, ein durch und durch zufriedener Mensch, wohnt auch in der Anlage, ist greifbar und kann viel über Kreta, das Leben und die Natur erzählen.

Die Unterkunft liegt ein wenig abseits von Palekastro in absolut ruhiger Lage in einem Olivenhain. Die Zimmer haben alles, was sie brauchen.
Die Atmosphäre ist ein bisschen wie in einem Gartenhaus. Es gibt Balkone, für das vordere Zimmer stehen zusätzlich Tisch und Stühle im Olivenhain bereit.
Wie schon einige geschrieben haben, Palekastro ist kein Ort für Luxus, Party oder Pauschaltouristen.
Ich fand die Lage besonders perfekt, in kleinen Spaziergängen ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten entweder am Strand oder im Palekastro Städtchen.
Für Windsurfer der beste Ort, man spart Zeit und Nerven und ist fast direkt am Spot. Auch Wanderziele sind mit dem Auto schnell erreicht.

Die Appartements sind schlicht eingerichtet aber es gibt alles was man braucht inkl. WLAN. Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns immer gute Tipps für Exkursionen gegeben. Sie sind wunderschön und ruhig gelegen in einem Garten inmitten eines Olivenhains mit Meeresblick. Der Eigentümer macht selbst auch exzellentes Olivenöl. Es gibt viele wunderschöne Strände und viele sehr gute Tavernen im Umkreis von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. In Palekastro (10 min mit Auto) gibt es auch viele gute Einksufmöglichkeiten.
