In the heart of Porlock, this hotel was full of character with very friendly and help fun staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening meal and the breakfast which were both excellent.

Friendly staff, cosy hotel, great breakfast, particularly good at catering for vegetarians and gluten-intolerance, and wonderful being able to buy a packed lunch for the next day's hike.
Could have been a little cleaner and would have been good to have shower gel in the bathroom.
