Incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Sime (the owner and host) was fantastically cool, incredibly attentive and personable. The penthouse/rooftop suite was incredible - amazing view of town and super modern and clean. It’s basically a two bedroom apartment with a MASSIVE deck and 180 views.

Beyond expectations

Fios' was everything we hoped for and more. To stay in such a welcoming traditional home with a spectacular view was a real treat.A perfect location within easy walking distance of everything you'd want to see. Our host Sime could not have been more helpful, he was generous with his time, fascinating family history and knowledge of the island making our stay all the more memorable.

Will not disappoint

We stayed here for our Honeymoon and all it was all great Sime, the owner welcomed us like long term friends, A chat over a bottle of wine on the beautiful open deck.and a step by step conversation about Hvar and timings of how to do it. The place was amazing the whole time. Awesome Harbor views large deck swing egg chair day beds a pool.... A bath tub as big as a pool you can look over the harbor with. .. 5 min walk or a one beer to the city...10 min walk all up hill from the city or two beers... Cracker of a place to stay

AMAZING staff. Had a booklet with all Hvar recommendations. Upgraded us to a room with private bathroom in room vs down the hall as some other guests cancelled. Picked us up from ferry port bus station no charge! Good location

10/10. Perfect stay in Hvar.

Our stay was perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Mr Fio also picked us up and dropped us off at the port which was very kind of him. Our room was cleaned and ready before our arrival, so we got an early check-in as well. There was also a shared kitchen set-up which was an added benefit. The location was great, just a few minutes to the centre by stairs. Our room had a booklet with personal recommendations and tips with things to do, restaurants, dessert places as well as contact numbers of certain service providers which was so thoughtful of Mr Fio, we could see the effort put in by him for his guests. We're glad we chose this place for our stay, and would come back again. To Mr Fio - we truly appreciate your kindness and helpfulness towards your guests, which is rare these days. Cheers!

Beautiful location, great host

I can't say enough good things about Fio's. It was an excellent stay from beginning to end. Sime met us at the bus station to ensure we could easily locate and arrive to the apartment. We were lucky enough to stay in the apartment. It is beautiful with a lovely view and well equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend staying at Fio's.

Absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic stay!! Communication was brilliant and very easy to reach the host. They kindly picked us up from the port. On pick up they also took us to a viewpoint that overlooked Hvar Town and gave us lots of advice and recommendations on things to do on the island. The viewpoint was incredible and we loved that they took the extra time to do this. The room itself was spotlessly clean and had a fantastic balcony with incredible views over the islands. The bed was super comfortable and all facilities were great. The room had a booklet with lots of recommendations which we found very helpful in deciding where to eat and what to do! The pool area was lovely and the pool was very clean. Location is great with a very short walk into the centre of Hvar Town and also a short walk from places like Hula Hula and Falko. The host was also kind enough to let us check out late on the last day as we had an evening ferry - they really went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. I honestly couldn’t recommend Fio’s enough and would love to come back one day!

We stayed on top apartment and Amazing view, rooms are generously sized, modern and clean, outdoor area is a real treat. Short walk to the town, Owner came to collect us off the ferry to bring us to apartment by car

Fantastic

Although it was only 7 minutes walk to the hotel, the owner was so kind to have personally picked us up from the ferry port by his car. Great communication via Whatsapp before we arrived. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean with a beautiful terrace oversee the seaview. The place is very close to town but also to the stretch of beaches. We rented a car on the second day to explore different parts of the island and settled ourselves at Milna Beach. We had a great time in Hvar.

Stunning views, great location and superb host!

Fantastic stay at Fio’s! Very comfortable room, amazing view and superb air con! Location is great with the old town to one side and the best sunset point and lovely beach bars to the other. Sime is an excellent host, he very professional. Sime is also very kind and responsive to the needs for guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thank you very much Sime!

Lovely, lovely stay. The owner was a wonderful host and went above and beyond for us. Gave us so many recommendations and also had a booklet with so much useful information. The place itself was lovely, had everything you would need and super clean. It was also super close to everything. Perfect stay and will definitely book again if I come to Hvar

Fantastic Stay at Fio's

The host, Sime, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Sime very kindly collected us from the port and took us to a view point where he gave us a brief history of the island and recommendations of things to do. The host had written a thought out list of recommendations of places to go, eat and even where to rent a car. The recommendations were helpful and none disappointed. The room was exactly as presented on the photos and we had a wonderful view from our balcony. I would highly recommend a stay at Fio's.

Best holiday we’ve had, without doubt.

The property was in a perfect location. Far enough away to be peaceful but close enough to get back to the town. Shops and beaches also within walking distance. Pizza takeaway next door too. Sime (the host) helped with everything, from suggestions for things to do to general assistance around the apartment, he was the perfect host. He also posted back lost clothing we’d left behind to the UK. Couldn’t thank him enough.

Fantastic stay in Hvar !

Great host - collected us and had a file of info and even also what's upped - us a suggested tour of island and things to do and see - beside the pool - there is also barbeque / view point for guests to use - from there panaramic view from islands and town can be seen

- to get to this view it is situated up a hill but small price to pay for the fantastic location and views !

Great location, great host, great rooms. What more could you ask for. Thank you for Simo for his exceptional hospitality, offering pick up at the closest point from the ferry. The facilities available at the accommodation are great. Spacious clean pool, BBQ area with fantastic views overlooking the Pakleni islands. Some rooms have a private entrance while others are internal to the main property. We had a wonderful stay whilst on Hvar. Simo was able to provide local recommendations of things to do during our stay and very attentive to our requests.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay at Fio’s for 5 nights. The location was perfect only a 5-7 min walk to the town. Sime was a fantastic host. He picked us up when we arrived as it wouldn’t be an easy walk with suitcases. He gave us a whole book of recommendations. Everything he recommended from restaurants to tours and islands were just perfect. When we strayed from what he recommended we were disappointed so we tried to stick to his list. The pool is great it’s usually quiet you may have it to yourself or you would just be sharing with a handful of people. I do think the pool is necessary to escape the heat so well worth choosing here for the pool. The area above with seating and bbq has a wonderful view. We didn’t cook there but the people who did had a lovely set up looked even nicer than eating out in the restaurants when you have that view on your doorstep. Everything was so clean inside and although there’s a few bits around outside like bricks and blocks of concrete but it didn’t bother us at all. Our room was also ready spacious and we had a lovely sea view too which was a bonus. Also the air conditioning is brilliant in the room which is definitely essential in the heat. Our favourite recommendations from Sime were definitely Navis tours for visiting the islands and blue cave, Jeorlim island (Sime’s sister owns the bar there so you also get access to sun beds), Mizarola restaurant for pizza, Don Armando for lunch, Lola’s we only got there for lunch as it was always so busy in the evening (great Arancini balls and iced coffee), Central Park Club (for affordable cocktails and excellent musicians). There were so many other great recommendations that we didn’t get around too. Overall a fantastic holiday in H’var. If we come back we will certainly stay at Fios.

Great location, spacious apartment and great host

Fio’s is the perfect place to stay on Hvar! The location is so perfect, an easy 5 minute walk into town and the pool is so good to have if you want to stay near to the apartment. Sime was a wonderful host, he was incredibly responsive and helpful. He picked us up from the ferry port and gave us so many recommendations. His written guide is so helpful too and incredibly detailed! The apartment itself is really spacious, with two bathrooms and an incredible terrace which we loved eating on in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (including olive oil, salt, pepper etc)

Sime was a great host, great local knowledge, always contactable for questions and was really helpful during my stay! Room had amazing sea view and good size balcony to sit out on. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of town so really easy to go out and enjoy Hvar

Would of been nice to have the option to have fresh towels but maybe this is available on longer stays or I missed how to. Did not overall impact my stay.
