Korakuan

This ryokan is an absolute masterpiece, perfect from A to Z! Spacious, spotless, beautifully organized, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Staying here feels like traveling back in time, thanks to the exquisite antiques and thoughtfully curated traditional décor. Every corner tells a story. And Rika? She is an absolute sweetheart—so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. Staying in this beautiful home has truly been the highlight of my visit to Kyoto. I can’t thank you enough, Rika, for such an unforgettable experience!

Everything was more than perfect

Excellent traditional house in a quiet area in Kyoto. Everything was as expected. I'd stay there again.

We visited in spring, please bear in mind thermal insulation of traditional Japanese accommodation is minimal so it may not be the best option for a family in the hot or cold season.
