St CLAIRE'S GREEN Negombo Hotel & Hostels

Claire and the staff were lovely. The room was spacious and the pool was a welcome relief.

Very nice family who own the property. Comfort place that is close to the airport and to have a look around Negombo.

It was so peaceful and the pool was so gorgeous! The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The Place is ok. Although thr rooms we booked were not the ones we got. I booked a standard room for 1 night and got a family room and my friends booked a deluxe room with Sofa, coffee corner and TV for 3 nights and got a standard room without any of those items. When they mentioned it to the owner, Mrs Claire, the next morning she basically kicked them out of the Hotel. She listed them as "no show" and cancelled their entire booking as if they never even spent 1 night there. I wonder what Booking would make of that. The owner has 2 rescue dogs running around everywhere and barking. The 6$ breakfast we saw people eating is a joke. But there is a great breakfast/lunch place next door "Hibiscus Lounge" with creative and great vegetarian food. Best to go there. The Hotel is in a run down neighborhood, nothing interesting to do there.
