Sonnenchalet 2 im Salzburger Lungau

We were met and shown around the property, electric was read and agreed as you pay for this on the last day with the local taxes. We found the property to be very clean and the kitchen had everything that you need, with views from all windows in the home, 4 minute walk to the local supermarket which we visited each morning for our fresh rolls and supplies for the day, which had everything that you needed and not too badly priced, though check opening times. We were given each a lungau pass after filling out our names by the owner which gave us free and discounted activities, like four different ski lifts passes (one up ride and down each) but again check on the days open in the early summer months, these were very much used by us. Fantastic walk in showers with plenty hot water. Washing machine is located in the locked basement but all you have to do is call the owner and they undo this for you and a small charge is added to your account at the end of the week. We found this to be in a good location and about 1 hr 20mins from the Salzburg Airport. We would like to visit here again. Highly recommend

Great chalet for the family stay at the quiet location, just a few km away from the skiing facilities. Hosting family was very friendly, farm visits were available including daily fresh milk.

Everything was perfect. Manuela, her mom, her sister, dad and brother ... and how can I forget Marko - the dog - as well as Gypsy the pony. We don’t remember the names of bunnies and the icelandic amazing horse as well as the little foal. Also the cows and the fresh milk was amazing and we even witnessed on a neighboring farm a cow giving birth! Overall, it’s an amazing place, amazing people and amazing overall experience. Thanks Manuela and family for the amazing hospitality. You are all awesome and we fell in love with Austria and Austrians because of you guys. :)

Why can’t everyone be like Manuela and her family :) the world would be a better place with more of these families :)
