Lovely couple running the pub. Very helpful and food was delicious.
No heating in bathroom so very chilly in winter. A heated towel rail would be lovely..

The town of Marloes is charming. We were happy the Lobster Pot was here for dinner and a one night stay while we were walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Great location. Very helpful friendly owners. Lots of tips and information for walking the coastal path and the area in general. Good food and spotlessly clean room. Packed lunch ready for our walk today is great, there is nothing between us and the next stop.

I was walking part of the Pembrokshire coast path and this inn was conveniently located for me. I had a very pleasant stay. the staff were friendly and helpful and it was comfortable with good food. It was in my opinion slightly overpriced, but that did not detract from from my experience.
everything was great.

Location - enabled a remote section of the Welsh Coast Path to be completed

Chris cooked us a fabulous breakfast, we were really set up for the day. There was also plenty of cereal, toast, yogurt and toppings.
The room was clean and well maintained. The ensuite lovely and clean.
We enjoyed a great seafood sharing plate for our evening meal. Chris and Sarah are very welcoming hosts.
We were very lucky that there was live music entertainment, from locals. Really enjoyable.
The Lobster Pot is in a small village close to Marloes sands and musselwick Beach. We walked to both. Over one mile walk but very enjoyable to meet with the pembrokeshire coast path.
Nothing.

The stand out factor was the publican Chris who ran the establishment. He could not have been more hospitable and friendly if he tried.
The bed mattress did not cushion the feel of what I can only imaging are wooden slats that make up the base.
The TV is small and is positioned facing across the room rather than face on to the bed, so it isnt conducive to watching the TV,

The staff are absolutely lovely here, we needed a packed lunch for our ongoing travel and nothing was too much trouble, and a gorgeous picnic to boot! The room was comfortable and clean. No complaints at all.

Good location for walking the coast path and the bus stop is opposite. Evening meal and breakfast very good. Lots of tea and coffee for drinking in the room. No noise from the pub.
Room a little small with nowhere to sit other than the bed. Walls between rooms thin and noise carries through.

Incredibly convenient for Skomer trips, the host could not have been more friendly and helpful. It's not the Ritz, but everything very clean, nice shower and the food hot and filling.

Nice room, great food, good pub.

Great pub and restaurant with a fab atmosphere and very friendly staff. Room was very clean and tidy, pub dinners were delicious and breakfast available was delicious too.
Decor was dated, but this didn’t detract from our stay.

Beautiful and convenient setting. Lovely outside space. Adjacent parking. Separate entrance to accommodation. Separate linked dining room for residents.

The location is very convenient for the boat trips to Skomer. There is very limited accommodation in the area so the pub has a captive market for this. The staff are friendly and keen to please. Our room was clean and bed comfortable.
The room was very cramped, hardly enough spare space to open our case. The pub and rooms badly need properly updating and the exterior has an unloved look. There were dead plants in the tubs outside and the windows needed cleaning. The breakfast arrangements are unusual, they need to point out that if you don't say exactly what you want the night before, you will get a full English breakfast. This was awkward as we couldn't eat it all. The pub meals are OK but overpriced. Later in our trip we stayed at the Stackpole inn for £5 more and the experience was far superior.

Location for boat trip to Skomer island to see the puffins
Quite basic accommodation, sink in my bathroom (room 2) very tight indeed. Wall very thin, I could hear every word the people next door were saying.

In a great location for Skomer Island visit. The garden was a nice place to sit in the afternoon before dinner, and the games available were enjoyable.
The mattress in room one was uncomfortable. It’s not quite the standard of decor I would expect for the price.
The pub below room 3 was loud and the open mic night didn’t end until gone 11pm and we had to be up early the next day.

The location is perfect for anyone visiting Skomer. Ten minutes drive to the National Trust car park at the St Martins haven.
Pleasant garden at rear with tables and chairs plus seating at front of pub.
Nice atmosphere.
Food is typical pub fare but freshly cooked and well presented.
We felt it was a good two night stay.
Given it’s a pub based B&B, there are going to be compromises. Rooms are on small side but fine for short stay.
New owners so suspect decorating will be on the to do list as slightly tired but clean.

Basic pub food, well cooked in the evening.

The owners were very friendly and the food was great!
Had to wait till 4:00 to check-in. It was fine because it was nice outside and there were picnic tables to sit at, but if it had been raining, well, that would not have been fun.

Great breakfast and excellent service, it was ready as soon as we went down in the morning. It’s a good place to stay when passing through on a hike, the rooms are small, but they are warm and have everything you need after a long day on the coastal path.

This was the perfect stopping off place for a trip to Skomer island. Chris and Sarah were lovely hosts. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinners and the packed lunches. We had a day trip to Skomer and another day where we hiked down to the Marlow Sands beach. It was gorgeous. It is a very small town, so people looking for shopping will not find it there. But it was quaint and perfect for walking. There were more paths we could have explored with more time. We traveled by public transport, so it was a bit tricky. We used a taxi and the Fflecsi bus.
If you want to use Fflecsi bus, do not plan to arrive or leave on a Sunday and DO book your trip in advance.

As a jumping off point for Skomer Island, it was excellent. Very quiet through the night and a hearty breakfast.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and there was a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely - we had fruit and cereals with a lovely choice of extras and Steve made us a bacon sandwich to go instead of having cooked. It was delicious.
Only a tiny thing - it was chilly when we went down for dinner but they put the heating on for us and it warmed up.
