The accommodation is full of old Japanese house charm and character and nice decorations yet modern comfort facilities.easy access from Kanazawa station 10 minutes by taxi or you can walk take 30 minutes and walk distance to kenrok garden and castle and market and I have to mention about house owner!she is so helpful for everything we need she offers transportation to station ,gives us recommendations restaurants and places information and more. Definitely I recommend.
Some of bed room is bit too bright in morning.

The property is a bit of a walk from the main tourist loop but you can experience more of the local areas.

It was a traditional Japanese house - the whole house, not a room in a house. Easily room for 5-6 people. There were 2 of us.
Our host, Yumiko, was wonderfully attentive. She coordinated with us in advance, picked us up at the train station, and even dropped us off again at the end of our stay. She sent us a note the morning after our first night, just to check in.

The house is a true Japanese machya house in a quiet location, close to all the main attractions if one has a car. There are very good car parking facilities nearby and great restaurants too. The owner is very friendly and obliging, always available to provide advice and lend a hand.
It would have been nice if there could have been a screen to make the entrance more private from the street, so that passerbys would not be able to peek inside while guests are in the premises.
