Modern and clean

The Casa Amato apartment was perfectly located, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The place was clean and was perfect for a family of 5. Dominic was wonderful and kept in touch with us regularly. AC and lights worked perfectly. Since the area was centrally located, it got noisy in the evenings. We loved it!

Location good, close to all the must visit places and stations. Loved the lift!!

Would have liked a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The cafe beside the apartment is not good. Avoid it and walk 5 minutes for some lovely cafes.

Location is excellent in the middle of the 'Old Town' with lots of atmosphere, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, as well as historic sites. Metro is also not too far to walk to (go to Duomo) where you can easily get to Garibaldi Central Station which is one station up on Line 1 or the port (Municipa) to catch the ferry to Capri or Ischia which is 2 stops, also on Line 1 in the opposite direction. You can Tap-On and Tap-Off (don't forget to Tap-Off!) on Metro Line 1 too, so you don't need to struggle with the ticket machine if not an Italian speaker if you don't want to! Accommodation large, spacious, clean and well-equipped. Also came with a little balcony, coffee machine, small kitchen area with fridge/freezer, lots of storage space and a safe. Bathroom really big and shower was great. The suite we stayed in had a large (Queen) double bed and two fold outs, so would be great for a family and two small kids. Domenico met us at the property and was really friendly and helpful - we referred to his map often. To get to the property from Garibaldi Central Station (assuming you get the Alibus from the airport) you can either walk (20 mins) or catch Metro to Duomo (see above). Had a great stay, and glad we chose this place.
