Lovely location. View spectacular. Room was spacious, tasteful, well equipped. Easy to access even unhosted. Host left us a breakfast plate due to restaurant being closed, plus a loaf of their delicious bread. We utilized their little "farm store." Host relented and allowed me to change my day after the deadline after I discovered a booking mistake.
Communication was sketchy -- like "when is your advertised restaurant open?" (Closed when we came). Owner thinks 91 degrees is a " hot tub." The tub was a main reason we booked. Wi-Fi was weak. When we were leaving via one lane roads, a delivery truck and a backhoe truck blocked our only ways out. I only have English so it was hard to argue. So we missed Eagles Nest.

Die Salzbergalm liegt auf der Mittelstation in Berchtesgarden. Der Whirlpool ist ein Highlight und war bei unserem Besuch immer frei. Den Vermietern liegt Sauberkeit am Herzen, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen.
Unsere Ferienwohnung „Watzmann“ bietet leider keinen Blick auf denselbigen, sondern ist zum Parkplatz ausgerichtet mit Blick auf den Obersalzberg. Die Dachgeschosswohnung könnte eine Klimaanlage vertagen, da man bei Außentemperaturen von 30 Grad, diese auch in der Wohnung fast erreicht.
