The view from this place was insane, the photos don’t do it justice! The room was clean, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was amazing! Location was amazing for what we wanted to do (walk down to nine arch bridge), nearby cafes with a view over the bridge, and easy enough walk down, plus walkable from little Adam’s peak and the adventure park.
We didn’t have any hot water the night we stayed, due to an issue with the pipes but that was explained to us upon check in. Location is gorgeous for the views, but a tuktuk ride from town.

Comfortable bed. Beautiful view of the mountain. Good breakfast prepared non-dairy for us. We appreciated this. We ate inside on our laps on the couch as it was raining on the balcony on breakfast table. Staff were eager to help.
Bathroom very basic and badly plumbed. Very little water pressure in the shower, No hand towel or bath mat and toilet seat broken. No power points beside the bed. No welcome. Manager did not acknowledge us until I spoke to her, although she had good English. Check-in done on our bed. Staff had no English but we're eager to help. Checkout was done outside. Most hotels in Sri Lanka have been much more welcoming.
