Excellent location and beautiful Turkish hospitality.

Very attentive and warm host who cooked for us and helped us with recommendations in the local area. Comfortable room with excellent bed and shower. Room felt private and cosy. Terrace was very relaxing.

No buffet breakfast. There is construction in the local area but the sound did not bother us.

Peaceful Ortahisar at Gorgeous Elaa Cave Hotel

I stayed in suite 99 in the units across the little road from breakfast and reception. If you are ok with steps up a few terraces the flat is gorgeous. Impeccably decorated with a collection of Ottoman antiques, incredible carpets and gorgeous textile artwork. The are multiple day beds to curl up to read a book, large windows in both rooms and a wonderful large bed with fresh linens and excellent pillows. An ensuite tea service and an upstairs private terrace and bathroom with large shower and plenty of clean towels. Besides the beauty of the rooms the great joy is the view into the central village of old Ortahisar. Epic

I’m happy I could easily negotiate the metal spiral staircase that leads to the upstairs bathroom and private terrace. If a person has mobility issues I know there are more suitable and equally beautiful suites on the property.

Everything was wonderful. We had a very warm welcome, fantastic breakfasts, an outside sitting area, plus rooftop area with great views. Our large cave room had tasteful and luxurious furnishings, and a king-size bed with quality linen. The ensuite had a good shower, big vanity and thick towels. The staff were friendly and very helpful with all of our various needs and requests. I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again.

beautiful beautiful cute staff loved them to bits . we were welcomed every morning and evening by the lady which I forgot her name and I think her son the young gentleman that oversees the place at night making sure whatever we needed he assisted it was an absolute pleasure to stay at the hotel

having more lights in my room as some lights weren’t working and if the property had Netflix streaming channels as the normal tv channels weren’t as entertaining especially if you don’t understand the Turkish language

Cave boutique hotel with castle view.

Thr hotel is located next to village center and Ortahisar castle, parking is free and reserved for hotel clients. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast is turkish style, mostly savoury with a decent number of options. The bed was a bit noisy ;) but confortable. The staff was very kind and helpful.

A wonderful stay in a quieter part of Cappodocia!

The town is quiet and away from the crowds of Goreme and the hotel is walkable distance from the town centre. The room was lovely (and a very cool experience to be in a cave like environment!) and had all the amenities you needed. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the terrace is beautiful to relax on. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, particularly Ms. Neçla - teshekur edirim :) All in all a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a slightly quieter part of Cappadocia away from the crowds :)

Sometimes we did need to leave the room door open to cool it down as there is no AC and the internet is sometimes unreliable when in the rooms but this didn't affect us too much.

Just a great place to base yourself for exploring Cappadocia!

This is a sweet, gem of a hotel, beatifully restored with many thoughtful details; lighting, bathroom amenities; the location is wonderful in a quiet town and well off the main square yet easy walking distance to the trails. Breakfast was excellent with many items made fresh that morning. Didn't get the name of the women who ran it but we called her the 'den mother' as she was warm. welcoming, helpful, despire little English, and always had a bright smile!

Despite the secluded location, our front room was a little noisy in that every car that came down the lane sounded like it was coming into our room & there were more cars than expected.

An intimate hotel.

This property has only five rooms and none of the other rooms was occupied. Nevertheless we were made very comfortable and received personalised attention at all times. The house lady and her colleague are very pleasant.

It is slightly isolated in the off season!

Las habitaciones son muy bonitas.

No hay atención, no hay personal, no hay desayuno, no hay nadie que te atienda, solo una señora que nunca está en el hotel. Si te falta algo no lo conseguirás. Está muy lejos del centro hay que escalar un cerro para llegar al centro. No me gustó la ubicación y la atención

Très bon séjour

L’hotel est situé à 2 pas du château de Ortahisar et a 10 min en voiture de Goreme. La chambre était propre, bien équipée et atypique. Accueil et personnel arrangeant et sympathique. Petit déjeuner copieux. Nous avons passé un super séjour au Elaa Cave, je recommande :)
