I'd stay elsewhere next time
The hotel is situated in what appears to have been a nicely renovated prior stone constructed storage warehouse, so it has character - rustic. The room interiors are unique in finishes and construction and my room was large. The wi-fi connection was strong. Bathroom towels were excellent in comparison to many other hotels I've stayed in, in Mexico. Reception permitted me to check-in an hour earlier than the standard time. Comfortable mattress and pillows.
Noise. A lot of noise from outside the hotel. My hotel room, and many similar rooms in the hotel face a busy concrete paver-type street that accentuates tire noise of the vehicles passing over it - until as late as Midnight or 1 a.m. The noise from outside also bounces about the room due to the hard-surface construction of the structure. The noise made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. The bathroom lacked toiletries one would expect at this price point, there was poor water pressure and the hot water flow in the shower was almost non-existent making it difficult to bathe properly and there was an off-putting odor one of the days. There were insufficient electrical outlets, particularly if someone travels with chargers for cellphones, iPads, laptops, etc.

Hotter than hell
Cool hotel and old pictures on the wall. The beds and pillos were decent. Location was good.
No AC in any rooms, with the windows open and the ac on it was super hot and uncomfortable. Also the hot water took between 10-15 minutes to get hot. Fortunately it was so hot we just showered with cold water.

Great location, good for short stays
Location is great, just a couple of blocks from the city center, near restaurants, stores, etc. Staff is extremely helpful, welcoming and nice.
The windows have an acrylic or transparent plastic sheet on the outside so opening the windows to get some fresh air is not possible. There was just one window on the side that opened to the roof of the adjacent section though it looked it was foam sealed before. The pool didn´t look as it was in optimal conditions, maybe was going to be remodeled.

good location! in general, good value for money.
the original room that was offered to us was very hot and didn’t have an a/c nor fan, but the staff kindly changed our room to a less hot room. all rooms don’t have a/c. they were not able to provide us with a cot for our baby.
