Delny Highland Lodges

This was a fantastic lodge. It had adequate room for family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen was equipped with basic necessities, microwave, fridge, cooker, crockery and kitchen utensils. The bedrooms, first bedroom bad 1 double bed and second 2 single, with the third being a mobile foldable bed. The foldable bed probably needs a bit of refurb, new slats. Overall the bedrooms were good too. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower had decent power. Outside the surroundings/ grounds offered a lot of greenery, a woodland walk, a stream running past the lodge, variety of animals including deers and horses. The lodge is a fantastic base to explore the north of Scotland, to tick off landmarks like Dunns Head, John o Groats and to explore the famous nc500 route and various other awesome sites like Dunrobin Castle. It's not too far from Inverness, only a 30 mins drive, this has your mainstream stores should you need them. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to address any queries.

I will absolutely stay here again. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The accommodations were beautiful. My children loved playing with all the animals on the property. Great entertainment for children with the playground as well. I wish we had had longer here.

The staff were not very helpful, and our experience was disappointing. When we made the booking, it was not clearly mentioned anywhere that we needed to bring our own towels. We only found out later, and they charged us extra for towels, which was unexpected and unfair. This information should have been clearly stated before booking so guests can be properly prepared.
