Spacious, nice apartment

The second floor wooden floors are a bit noisy if you walk on them. If you leave the window open on the street side, the traffic sound can be quite loud.

This place is a gem of a holiday let in such a beautiful location. Having stayed in several places in Cambridgeshire this will definitely be booked again. Located in what I could only describe as a chocolate box village, we were only a 4-mile bus ride to the city and a train stop from the beautiful Ely. With 3 bedrooms, 2 up - 1 down, it is very spacious, well laid out and has everything you need. It's a home-from-home and was a joy to come back to each evening to dine in. As it had a private entrance it was nice to be able to sit out, or just let the air flow through as we stayed during the heatwave. The village of Waterbeach itself has a village green, 3 pubs, all really good, but shout out to The White Horse for serving delicious Nepalese food. There is also a great deli, café restaurant and a weekly food truck for those with a street food penchant. The stay was good value for money, the property has its own car space and there was someone on hand to offer advice if needed.

Communication in advance from host was helpful. Value for money was really good. Parking spot helpful. Check in easy. Plenty of space.

Only comment is that the bed was too short for my husand at 6ft2 but no biggie

The property is well located and good value for money. Communication with the property before the stay was good. Check in was very easy and there is parking available. There was space for our travel crib, and a highchair was provided.

The property is sparsely furnished, with the minimum possible provisions. The lounge and kitchen are comfortable but basic. The stairs upstairs are steep. Once upstairs, the rooms have wardrobe space and several beds, however the beds were very uncomfortable. Each bed had a small duvet, smaller than the bed size. It seems a shame, as if the beds had been comfy I'm sure we would have felt much more positive about the overall stay.
