Spacious basic accommodation in great location for Cambridge and Ely
Spacious basic accommodation. Good bus link to Cambridge and train to Cambridge and Ely. Great take-ways and a small supermarket and pubs in the village. Off road car parking.
Could do with a chest-of-drawers in the bedroom and a dustpan and brush. Note. due it being an old cottage the stairs are a bit steep and the bathroom is downstairs.

Funtional, clean, semi-detached house with off-street parking & easy access to Cambridge Park & Ride
Very easy to park - property has an allocated space at the back, and is situated on a wide road with no parking restrictions. Easy to get in and out of Cambridge on the Park & Ride as the bus stops in the village (actual P&R carpark is a 5 minute drive, if that). In terms of convenience, it was exactly what we were after. Good shower, washing machine, fridge etc. It's an entire semi-detached house, rather than an apartment.
Downstairs bathroom, which didn't bother us but might be a problem for some. No outdoor space, and the interior is a bit bland (but very functional, especially for a short stay). Only very basic pans & cutlery, but adequate.

Dirty fridge which smelt bad due to gone off food in the water container which we had to clean out. Beds - duvet too heavy. Lack of mugs (3 provided for a 4 person stay)

Expect no frills, but meets all important requirements very well.
It was as described. There was plenty of space, good-sized kitchen, and bedrooms. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Comfortable bed. Constant hot water. Reasonable distance to Cambridge ( 20 mins in car). Good local pub (the bridge). It was clean. Basically we thought it was good value for money (cheap for the area) in a no frills way. Clear check in instructions and fast response to queries
Could have done with a downstairs lamp, for relaxing in the evening. No corkscrew Late check in 1600 without paying a fee and early checkout 10.00. ( could have done with an hour extra either side, but didn't want to pay extra, but it wasn't a biggy.
