The atmosphere of the retro-style design. Very clean. The view from the window and from the terrace, many windows, the privacy, own parking in front of the door, the garden is great, sitting at the terrace for breakfast is a highlight of our journey. Even bathroom was spacious. Everything was there even food🙏 Close to several levada hikes. A hypermarket is within 10mins by car. A special miradour and several really good restaurants are also within 10 minutes
I would love to have a washing machine. Actually expected (but I think laundry service is available and the hypermarket has washing machines with dryer at the entrance)

Quinta das Hortensias is a beautiful traditional house with an incredible garden and a terrace with a view like nowhere else in the neighborhood! Our host was very welcoming and friendly. We spent 3 amazing days there. We didn’t book the breakfast by mistake but our host provided us with some complementary food that was well enough for a perfect breakfast.
Everything was perfect.
