Noting fancy, simple country place, price corresponds to the level. nice surroundings
A real country place. Not fancy, just a homely and simple small family hotel. Cozy house with 3 floors (reception desk, dining terrace and mini-shop on the village road, 12 hotel rooms on the 2nd floor). If you are looking for luxury, don't go there. If you are looking for a country atmosphere and a simple life, you can go. Fortunately, the price corresponds to the simplicity. In the house you feel more like in a simple old home than in a real hotel. Elena, the very fun waitress, is quick and greets customers at the breakfast table with many "Kalimera"s. Location next to a small quiet beach and beach cafe, you can swim in the sea in several places near the house. Beautiful view of the sea. Less than a km away is the small fishing town of Petriti, it is not visible from the hotel but you can get there directly through a small forest - take a flashlight or headlamp with you if you want to go in the dark, it is pitch black in the forest and you have to find a narrow hilly path. It is a 3km drive there by car. Be aware that roosters crow early in the morning, as there is a chicken coop nearby. Village dogs walk and bark somewhere in the distance (at an unknown time, usually in the evening darkness). The silence of the countryside can be heard far away.
Several small things were broken or falling apart and needed minor repairs - the shower door was missing, the sink faucet screen, the main door handle wanted to come off, the bed was a bit sunken, the blankets were strange and thin. Simple like in a normal worn-out and bit dirty country house. Such a warm feeling of home. Most important observations - If you love cats and are willing to spend time with cats on the breakfast terrace, then you can go there. Fortunately, considering this, the waiter will bring all the prescribed food to your table, there could not be a self-service counter with food because of the cats. If you can't stand cats and cat hair, or especially if you are allergic, then don't go there at all. Countless numbers of self-reproducing cats, including several pregnant and many kittens, walk around the house and on the breakfast terrace between customers, they are friendly but ask for food and also walk with you round or to the beach. An interesting sight was when a guest in another room came, carrying a cat around his neck, and said that it came into his room and and won't go out anymore. Breakfast is simple and almost the same - the prescribed selection is brought to the table. The dry whitebread sandwich could have been supplemented with something more juicy like yogurt, muesli, fruit, etc. The coffee tasted really bad and was cold - it seemed to us that the coffee was made in a thermos the night before and poured from there in the morning, because otherwise the coffee should be hot. There is no way to heat it yourself - the microwave reception is apparently broken. The kettle in the room was a super surprise - very old plastic and in dirty condition, when boiling water in it you could smell the expired and changing plastic, I destroyed such plastic jugs at home that produce toxic water 20 years ago. For heating the drink, use glass or stainless steel, not plastic!

Friendly staff, good breakfast and stunning location
The location is lovely if you want a quiet holiday – we went in late October and the local restaurants in the village were already closed however it is a beautiful spot and if you hire a car you can easily get to other nearby villages/restaurants. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach, and you can walk to Petriti, the next village along the coast. The hotel is simple, nothing fancy and that is reflected in the price.
A few little things needed fixing, e.g. towel rail in the bathroom but everything was clean and it was good to have a fridge and kettle in the room.

A small and simple hotel – clean and comfortable.
Clean rooms, friendly atmosphere, and great value for money. Perfect for a short and comfortable stay.
Located quite close to the road, so it can be a bit noisy at times.

good if you rented a car
- quiet enviroment, nature, nice views, parking and mini market -welcoming plate with fruits, water and juice in the fridge -big terrace ( ground floor, back room) -friendly hosts - SUP rental
-the shower was leaking and flooding the bathroom -the mattresses were a nightmare, worn out (I could feel every spring) -the nearest beach is small and accessible by steep slope, no sunbeds/umbrellas -panorama notos taverna has access to the small beach with paid sunbeds (I don't mind), but is crowded as hell -wi-fi is weak and often disconnecting -huge amount of wasps
