We booked the whole house, as it is a bit far from the busy area, we could have a taste of real Japanese lifestyle, living comfortably in a traditional Japanese style house. The house had everything we needed, it was clean and well-maintained, and even things were old. Quiet neighbourhood. The air conditioners were good enough for the heat wave and we lived comfortably for a few nights. All kitchen needs were provided so we could cook without any issues. Doing laundry and hanging them dry were easy as well.

It took quite a walk to go out or back to the house, but this is not a complaint because we were living like real Japanese in a real residential area, not a hotel. Yet, there were no restaurants close. We went to a conveyor belt sushi as the other 2 options, including a cafe, were not open. So the best choice would be to buy stuff and cook. As tourists, we wouldn't be "home" early, but laundry time was limited to before 9 pm so it was a challenge.
