The hotel was very near the motorway which suited us perfectly. The hotel is functional; we didn't have high expectations for a luxurious experience but the location, and the facilities suited us very well. The woman on reception was very helpful and organised. The bedrooms had air conditioning which was a very nice facility to have as the weather was very hot. So this hotel does what it says on the tin: functional and is a good budget hotel.
There are lots of things that could have been better, but this is a budget hotel so it matched our expectations. We would have preferred a slightly more comfortable and larger dining/lounge area.

Good for a drive through trip as you can check in even when the reception is closed.
Shower and WC in the same cubicle (you can't get in without getting wet after the shower)

The room is fine. Clean. Functional.
Location is not the best. The whole property wreaked a stench of cigarrettes, particularly the carpets in the corridors... The stench was awful! No elevators was a real minus because we were travelling with an elderly dog (this was not stated clearly on the publication, I think) and the hotel is pet friendly. The staff was, on teh other hand, very helpful, they changed our preassigned rooms to the lower floor.
