Had slight issue with blocked toilet and bed bugs, we booked three facilities, so two out of three worked well. The management sorted out our problem in the end.

Perfect stay on the beach

Perfect location, right on a pristine, quiet beach, among the coconut and other trees, while also within a few mins walking distance to the busier areas. The staff was so lovely, especially the two girls in the restaurant who always brought our order to our room. The owner was kind as well and made sure we were taken care of. As soon as we saw our Beachfront Bungalow, I was so happy that I listened to the good reviews, as it was just how I imagined. I wanted to stay on the beach for our last few days in Koh Tao and this bungalow didn’t disappoint, in fact we loved it so much that we extended our stay by one day.

Location location location….Best in the island by far IMHO We took the beach front bungalow and it was awesome! The restaurant was fantastic - AROY MAK MAK

Nice setting on Kho Tao right on the beach, lovely accommodation, quiet spot, needs some work

Room was spacious and clean - serviced daily. All facilities like aircon, fan, safe, fridge, free water daily etc. Location right on the beach. Bathroom was clean with hot water shower. Easy to walk to many restaurant options along the beach and along the main road. We hired scooters from Bow Thong - in very good condition. The staff that cleaned the apartments were very friendly. Our check-in was easy and the lady was friendly. Her English was broken but good enough.

The gardens between the apartments needs some work - we couldn't walk without shoes from the apartment to the beach. No operating restaurant at the resort. The beach loungers and umbrellas were broken and old and needed replacement. The beach had low tide when we were there - not the resort's fault but it makes the beach not great for swimming due to all the coral and rocks.

Central location and in front of the beach

just in front of the beach. You can wake up and see the sunset. It is one of the main beaches in the island, so you have everything (restaurants and beach) in a walking distance. The cabin was lovely and cozy! very relaxed atmosphere

A nice hotel in a beautiful place.

Excellent location in the Hat Sai Ri beach, with very nice sight. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they organized my trip to Hua Hin. I booked a room but got a bungalow for the same price. If I come back to Koh Tao, I will choose again the Bow Thong Resort, and I can further recommend it.

The location is absolutely amazing. Resort is located right at the quiet part of the beach. It's a short walk to the centre but far enough not to hear the music from the beach bars. View from the balcony is amazing. All the staff were lovely and always willing to help. Can organize day trips or transportation. 10 minute walk to 7 Eleven. Very good bar/restaurant with delicious thai food & drinks and affordable prices. Definitely will stay there again while visiting Koh Tao.

Pillows were a bit uncomfortable which was unfortune and a blow dryer in the room would be a good addition.

Great Christmas

we had a beach bungalow for our stay in ko tao during Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed it. the property was very close to the beach, staff were very friendly organising taxis, ferry transportation etc. 10-15 mins walking distance to plenty of bars/restaurants and shops was fine for us and we liked being away from the busier parts of the island. amazing spots for the sunset!

It’s always great to be back to Ko Tao and I always stay either in Palm Leaf resort or Bow Thong (it is beside each other). They recognised me coming back and upgraded my bungalow to sea view, so it made my stay just fabulous! The location is the best. It is at the end of Sairee beach, 5 mins walk from all the crowded places and parties , much quieter area. So you can have everything: quiet time while sunbathing with a book and a party further down at night. About the stray dogs. Thailand is just famous of them. I am a dog lover so it doesn’t bother me, I like them and befriended a good few:)). They just live on the beach and are friendly to everyone. However it could be intimidating coming back by the beach to your bungalow at night, after a party, because they could bark... But don’t be afraid, try to make a friendly voice and just talk to them, that changes everything, they’ll even walk you to your bungalow and will stay to sleep on your deck (to protect you:) ) if you will allow it, so you will have a new friend :)).

The first see view bungalow (nr10) they gave me was ok, but a bit dated. I mean it was still great to receive that upgrade because of the view, but if I would have paid for it 120€ a night I wouldn’t have been very happy. They should improve and fix it up a bit. It wouldn’t cost too much for them. The socket at the bed table was faulty, my charger plug was falling out of it and the air conditioning made really loud noice so I had to turn it off at night. Woke up in the morning and discovered tiny brown bugs on my pillow falling out of the ceiling... So the lady at the reception gave me another sea view bungalow which was fabulous and so enjoyable that I didn’t even want to go out during my stay:)). It made me forget the inconvenience with the previous bungalow. P.S. I hope they fixed nr 10.

I did book at short notice online which cost (obviously) I’m sure if you just turn up you will be able to be able to negotiate the price. If not there are many more resorts the same at the top of that beach. If you sometimes like a beach party they are a lively 5 min walk down the beach. All in all nice place to append what was unfortunately only a long weekend!!!!

Superb

Nice Room. Clean Towel and toilet paper available every day. Nice balcony in a very nice environment. Not to mention the Resort is located in front of a very beautiful and quite beach. As the matter of fact, one of the best beaches in Koh Tao. The location is close to the small downtown, restaurants and shopping places.
