Superb
The location of Haus Tamara is great. It's a 30 minutes walk to the Mayrhofen center, where the groceries are. There's a really convenient network of ski buses in Finkenberg that takes you from Haus Tamara to the Finkenberg gondola. Tamara was a great host.
The room is pretty small, but it has everything you need.

Great ski experience of Hintertux glacier and Zillertal Arena.
Very calm and quiet place. Cleanness on a high level. Friendly landlords. Excellent location concerning skiing. Nice patio. Beautiful panorama view from the garden. Well equipped kitchenette. Separate place for skis and ski boots. The studio that we occupied is really small but from another hand very cozy. Thank you, Tamara and Martin, for your hospitality.

Feels like home
Frau Tamara and her husband are amazing hosts! They are very friendly and they were always there, if we needed help (e.g. when we couldn’t park our car, because there was too much snow in Finkenberg). The room was not very big, but very cozy and had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, spacious wardrobe, several facilities to dry our clothes, large bed with two duvets (which is very important for us), and the bathroom was not claustrophobic at all. And what’s more important it was very warm there, unlike most mountain hotels and apartments. So the guest house feels like home indeed!
There was no hair dryer, so, please, consider it before going there. And there was no TV, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all. We came by car, so for us location was great indeed - it’s just 5-20 mins drive to any resort in Zillertal area. However, it might be not so convenient if you use public transport: there’s a ski bus to Finkenberg lift, but it’s quite a walk to Mayrhofen (2-2,5 km), if you want to go there for dinner for example. And the taxi will cost you about 10 Euro per ride.
