Well equipped 2 bedroom apartment in the town centre; nearby to a good choice of restaurants and supermarkets. Balcony with mountain & valley views. Good transport connections to the bus and rail networks. 2 nearby cable car systems for mountain walks. The local guest card gives free access not only to the Westendorf valley buses & trains, but also to the Kaiserjet buses in the the Soll valley; they provide easy access to several more cable car systems.

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean and everything was in good condition and good working order. There was no hairdryer but we were kindly provided with one upon request. Thank you to our host(s)! We found Westendorf itself to be a fabulous destination (as we learned, it was once designated best village in Europe) and everyone we encountered was very nice. The apartment is well-located in the village - near the shops (Spar or Billa proved very handy) and a handful of restaurants and bars (some noise - on weekend nights only - but only an issue if you have the bedroom windows open at night). To arrive, we took the direct train from Innsbruck Hbf and walked from Westendorf station to the village - up quite a steep hill for the latter half of the walk, as one might expect in the mountains. It took about 20 minutes, but alternatively there is a bus (every hour or two depending on time of day) or one could take a taxi. We would definitely like to return there for another holiday.

View from apartment, proximity to shops and restaurants excellent, free rail tickets were a great bonus, owners very lovely and helpful. We would go there again without hesitation.
