Lake St Lucia Lodge

Andre was a wonderful host, who waited for us well into the evening and made time to go through all the details and suggestions. He also came early in the morning to show us where the hippos grazed in the night (and we saw them just next to the rooms late in the evening!). The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and had all the essentials, including plenty of drinking water. A clean and quiet stay in a central location, but slightly on the edge of the hustle and bustle of town, so you get a good night's sleep! Would definitely stay again next time we're in St Lucia. Thank you for the hospitality!

It’s in a very nice garden and we had a comfortable and peaceful sleep. Bed was comfortable. The host is a nice friendly guy. Good location. Right near main area but quiet

They don’t have any soaps at all in the bathrooms. The smaller chalet was leaking in the rain but he said he will fix it immediately. Slightly expensive in my opinion.

Andre was an exceptional host. He made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of tips on the area which made the trip! His accommodation was so comfortable, it had everything we needed. Loved the hippo footprints in the morning and his cat:)

Loved everything

A very quiet self catering chalet with a well equipped kitchen. Located at the end of St Lucia, and an easy 10 min walk to caffes and restaurants for meals or the supermarket or shops. A couple of hippos walk through the garden late some night. Banded mongees on the lawns opposite early morning in this vicinity plus a town warthog who roams the high street. Very comfortable bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Wi-Fi included. There are two very well equipped tech shops in the high street in case you need something. No TV in the room, but sports bars down town. If you need anything booked like bird walks, game drives, night drives, the owner will book this for you with the local best agency. Book as soon as you arrive so as not to miss out. Lovely big garden for listening to birds but there is re-construction of chalets going on next door property at the moment, and there is a heavy vehicle business on the other side, who start before sun-up. There only a very few chalets on this premises.
