The space
Our welcoming self-contained lodge is set across two floors and designed to help guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home throughout their stay.
On the ground floor, you’ll find:
• A fully equipped kitchen with Smart TV
• A modern family bathroom
• A cosy twin bedroom with two single beds
• A comfortable double bedroom
Upstairs features:
• A spacious master king-size bedroom with Smart TV
• Ensuite shower room
• Large relaxing lounge area with Smart TV
• Dedicated children’s corner with books, games, desk, and chair
The lodge combines quirky historic character with modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming space for both short breaks and longer stays.
To help us maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the lodge for all guests, we kindly ask visitors to remove outdoor shoes inside the property.

Guests have full private access to the entire self-contained lodge with its own private entrance.
Please note the property includes a small curved staircase typical of a historic cottage. While many taller guests and guests with reduced mobility have stayed comfortably, the staircase does have slightly lower head height than a modern property, so we like to make guests aware in advance.

Great host, great communication. All explained clearly so even I could understand.Location was great, easy parking made possible and free! Local area great.The property itself was perfect for a family of 4, all lod cons and more. Kids already asking to come back and visit in Spring/Summer.

This place was described as quirky in the listing and it was! But more charming than quirky. We loved it and our stay there. It’s very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has all you need for a long stay. It’s also conveniently located in the village of Fordingbridge and close to many sites whether you travel north, south, east or west. The host could not be more friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone for a long or short stay.

We booked this property in Fordingbridge since it was a reasonably short drive from Southampton (prior to our cruise). The plan was to spend 3 days in SW England (Bath, Stonehenge, etc.) and take in the charm of a small village. The property is lovely, however it is without air conditioning (A/C) and proper ventilation and during a summer heat wave, quite miserable. The owner did her best to provide fans, however despite her best attempts - it was still very hot in the house and impossible to sleep at night. As an American, I guess we are used to A/C and the heat wave made the stay quite unpleasant. The village is quite charming and the parking situation was easy to figure out. The front door to the property is on a very busy street there were some "close calls" with trucks and lorries on certain days.
