Colonel’s Retreat

The staff were so kind and provided excellent service.

It was a little far away from city sights but that also made it peaceful and quiet.

We love the staff! Everyone very nice and friendly, breakfast was absolutely amazing, as well as dinner! We also enjoyed tea time at the terrace, lovely green area.

No complaints overall, minor issue with the shower and the water temperature, as well as the water coming out of the shower. Definitely not a big deal.

Very well located, beautiful rooftop and kind staff

It is a room in a house, not a hotel, therefore except noises.

The room was large. The hotel was close to a metro station.

We felt that we didn't stay in the hotel we booked and were placed in an overflow building across the road. The room we were given did not resemble the photos on Booking.com e.g. there were no pictures on the wall, it had generic and corporate looking hotel furnishings and no personnel or security on site. The complimentary water bottles were half empty. High tea was pretty pathetic with a few biscuits and a virtually finished cake. As we were leaving early, we were given a packed up breakfast which was a token effort with a pathetic cheese sandwich, a few scraps of banana bread and a carton of juice. Bearing in mind that this the most expensive hotel we stayed in over our month long tour of India, it was also the most lacking in service, character and value.
