Beautiful characterful property with friendly hosts

Prachtig vrij uitzicht alle kanten op vanuit het sfeervolle en compleet ingerichte appartement. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Het is een oud historisch pand, wat ook betekent dat het erg laag is (voor lange mensen) en de vloeren piepen en kraken (bovenburen hoor je lopen). Hoort erbij.

We stayed in apartment Gratlzpitz, which is the 4 person apartment on the top floor. The apartment is lovely, extremely cozy and beautifully furnished. This apartment has a balcony with a table with sitting room for max 3 people and a lovely daybed where you can relax. Because this apartment is higher, it has a better view than the other apartment. The view is nice, over the rooftops towards the mountains and facing west. The kitchen has a fridge with a small freezer compartment. You can ask for basic stuff like salt and pepper, it is not kept out in the kitchen, so just ask for it. The bathroom has a good, hot shower. Everything is completely clean and new. It is on the edge of the village and completely quiet and within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops of the beautiful village Alpbach. The hosts are lovely and extremely friendly. We loved staying here and would warmly recommend this apartment for up to two adults and two children/teenagers.

The ceilings in the apartment are somewhat low. This should not be an issue, except for the very tall. The one issue might be in the bathroom, where the space in front of the sink is only about 172 cm high. (The rest of the room is higher). Bending down a bit when standing by the sink was no problem for us, but you should be aware of it. If you are tall and this would bother you, you should maybe choose the other apartment.

Sehr schön ausgebautes, geräumiges Apartment in altem Bauernhaus, zentrale Lage in Ortsmitte von Alpbach, aber doch ruhig. Vermieterin sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, überaus angenehme Atmosphäre.
