Daunou Opéra

Great location, lovely comfy bed and brilliant shower.

It was in walking distance of several places to eat! It was a 8 minute walk from the Louvre Museum. The staff were very polite & helpful! It’s also 6 minutes from designer shops such as Louis Vuitton. The uber to Eiffel Tower was under 15 euros & many other places.

The room was great, exactly what we expected! Having AC was an amazing perk considering how hot it was. A 10-minute walk to the Louvre made getting there super easy, and we bused or Ubered to other monuments that were farther away (everything in Paris is more spread out than I anticipated!). Staff at the front desk spoke English (or could at least understand me) and were there whenever we needed anything. The elevator was older but worked great, and the cleaning staff were all super sweet.

The location is perfect. Room is clean, but lacks all the basic hotel stuff that I usually get in the bathroom, like shower cap, facial cleansing discs, slippers,bathrobe ( which I always find in a 3 star hotels in Paris) even a bottle of water was with extra charge. ( we only got free bottles of water on the day of our arrival) The room was clean, but one day when we entered the room after the cleaning lady left all our t shirts and nightgowns were thrown on the floor, I took pictures of it and showed it to the lady at the reception, no reaction, no apologies... It was very very weird. The breakfast is very poor, the poorest I have ever experienced in hotels Paris ( I have stayed in several) Even the bread and pastry was not fresh every day. I would not recommend this hotel, there are plenty of much better options nearby and with a better price selection.
