The property is a beautifully preserved traditional Japanese house, where every detail evokes the charm of the Showa era, blending warmth with thoughtful design. The view overlooking the zen garden was absolutely breathtaking, and the open-air onsen truly became the highlight of my entire trip.
The house is quite old, so you might hear some creaking when walking down the hallway. It can be a bit noticeable if you’re sensitive to noise.

It was fantastic.
Staff where really nice, and their was one commonly around that spoke perfect english.
The private, reservable, outdoor bath was stunning.
Im an anxious person by nature so the public indoor bath, seperated by gender, was very overwhelming for me as they are where the showers are. But it wasnt too hard to jusy find a quiet window and suck it up.
