Kasbah Oulad Othmane

Authentic kasbah with amazing rooftop terrace. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic!!

The pool was murky, and not at all like the photos.

The Kasbah is very unique! Very lovely to stay in a renovated Kasbah, they made it very beautiful and cosy. The young man who’s working to host the guest is very lovely and caring!

With the current renovations, the pool was not available.

We stayed here for two nights as a family of four with two young boys, and it truly felt like the minimum needed to appreciate the atmosphere and uniqueness of this place. There are so many little corners of the kasbah to explore, and the rooftop offers beautiful views over the surrounding area. Place is peaceful and quiet. We’ve come away with really special memories. Everyone who works here made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Malika, who was incredibly kind and generous with her time. We had a many nice conversations with her. She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly looked after. Our children absolutely loved her, and we had no problem communicating in English. The host also made a lovely effort to connect with our children, even without a shared language, taking the time to engage with them and answer their questions. The place itself is clean and very well maintained, which is especially impressive considering it’s built from traditional materials like clay and straw.

It could have been a beautiful place but it wasn’t up to standard (yet)…

The pool was empty, the rooms had no fans (and it was too hot, everyone slept on the roof terrace)… The bathrooms were not clean. The entrance was a messy and dangerous climb…
