Riad in hele oude oude kashba (die verder niet meer bewoond is). Mooie binnen tuin. Leuk lopen in palmbos achter de accomodatie.

Een heel mooie authentieke woning in de kasbah vlakbij de palmerie´ tijdsloos en prachtig gerestaureerd. Het ontbijt is overheerlijk en ook het diner was zalig. De uitbater geeft je alle info en begeleidt je naar de prachtig gerestaureerde moskee in de verlaten kasbah. Een pareltje van ontroerende schoonheid en respect voor de traditie. In de palmerie kan je wandelen en ontmoet je de inwoners van het dorp. Met spijt gingen we er weg.

This Kasbah was truly an amazing find and experience. We feel so gracious to have been able to stay here Our host was amazing and made our stay very comfortable. The food was lovely. The renovation of this Kasbah is unique, and we are so happy to have had the opportunity to stay here.

We had booked here as a place to stop on the way back from the desert to Marrakech. We didn't really have any expectations, but it us away! The kasbah dates back to the 1600s and a large part is ruined. The hotel is in a restored section. It is largely restored to an original state, with mud and straw walls and floors. It's not luxurious but it is comfortable and very atmospheric. The architecture and gardens are beautiful and you can walk around the ruined grounds too. Our evening meal was delicious. We wished we had stayed a couple of nights because the village is very non-touristic and there was more to explore eg. places to swim. We had forgotten we had to pay in cash and unfortunately had run out because the previous cash machine we had tried to use was broken. When we realised we were already at the hotel and it was night. The owner was very kind about it, and told us not to worry. In the morning he came with us by car to the next town and we got cash out there. He did this to save us the journey of having to go back on ourselves to the kasbah again. Really understanding and very kind of him to do so. Can't recommend this place enough.
