Location was good, staff very friendly, room comfortable, basic needs met, easy arrivals process, small honesty bar.

Lack of tea/coffee/milk in room, kettle provided but no mugs. Felt like it was missing the extra finishing touches of a hotel room and more what I would have expected of an apartment stay. Anything extra came with a considerable cost (€10 to use washing machine.) Fine for the summer months for a short stay and would return, but too small and without enough extra facilities in the room for a winter stay (unless in an apartment.)

The staff was friendly and helpful. Good price considering the location. It is possible to walk to the centre of Mayrhofen not depending on buses.

Great location close to the town, set in a mountain valley with beautiful views. Parking is available both in front of and behind the apartment. I really appreciated the self-check-in option when arriving outside reception hours. The accommodation has key safes with a code on the wall, which makes arrival very convenient. I also appreciated the online check-in, which avoids the need to spend a long time filling in personal details at the reception. Room was perfectly clean.

I understand that this is a more budget-friendly accommodation, but I would still expect it to meet certain basic standards, even if it is slightly cheaper than the alternatives in the area. Personally, we knew that we would only use it for an overnight stay and leave again in the morning, so this was not a major issue for us. However, some guests might find it uncomfortable that, apart from the main entrance to the room, there is another ordinary interior door with a handle in the bathroom. This door leads directly from the toilet into the corridor where breakfast is served. These are standard interior doors, suitable for access to a bathroom from within a private room, but not really appropriate as an entrance from a shared area. There is also a security concern, as the door can essentially be unlocked from the outside at any time. We did not leave any valuables in the room. The location of this door also means that, as early as 6 a.m., you can hear noise from the breakfast preparation. This is something to be aware of when staying here. To put it simply: if you happen to be using the toilet in the morning, someone could be getting food from the breakfast buffet practically 3 metres away on the other side of the door — and you can hear everything.
