Location was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. Our room was quite comfortable and very clean.
The staff at the reception desk were unfriendly and not willing to help explain certain procedures such as parking. The wait staff at the restaurant were unfriendly as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location of Hotel Sole is unbeatable — right by the lake, just a few steps from the charming center of Limone. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.
The room was spotless, bright, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and helpful all the time — they truly made us feel welcome.

The location of the hotel was perfect, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. There was a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. It is a typical Italian old-style hotel with the bonus of a lift.
Our room and bathroom were a bit small, and the balconies were very close to each other so neighbours' smoking inhibited our enjoyment. Rooms could use some updating. Breakfast started too late especially when wanting to take an early boat on the lake and early-comers were frowned upon. Asking for hot water for me to bring to my room seemed a hardship. (There was no electric kettle in the room.) Instructions to the carpark were confusing (eg how does one determine the "last tunnel" from either direction?). The instructions should plainly state that you must drive into carpark, take a ticket, go to hotel to pay €20 for their card key, drive out, pay the €2.50 minimum charge and then drive back in with the card. It took ages.
