This is one hotel I keep coming back to again and again, I have been a reguar guest for two years now at the thistle and can say my stay has always been great. The hotel is a one minute walk into the mall and this is excellent especially if you need to grab a coffee or any essentails you may need. The staff are amazing as they always go above and beyond and the cleaning staff are the friendliest and will help with anything. I am a wheelchair user, and have one dedicated room I use at the hotel, it is always cleaned to my standards as well as being able to leave out my expensive toiletries and not worrying about if anything will go missing. Thank god the god damn Luton Town Bells have stopped rinnging all night long.

There are a few issues with this hotel, they have no air con in the rooms whatsoever, you are given a cheap stand fan that does nothing but blow hot air, this is not ideal for this hot weather. You can however leave the windows open thankfully as they do open, but due to where this hotel is located there can be noise issues in the area after 8pm and due to this hotel backing onto the main Luton Town centre it can get quite noisy from outisde. The new key card system has been a let down as in this day and age if the key card is near a mobile phone, the key card needs to be reset and this was very annoying. I've had to report drainage issues a few times now as the water goes down very slow in the shower
