Beautiful hotel, amazing food and lovely staff

The place was very tranquil. Truly gave the whole family a good rest. The breakfast was great. They were good at accommodating Glutenfree diet for my celiac daughter.

The menu for lunch and dinner was the same, and the same the next day. The menu was limited and quite peculiar. Food was good, but the menu could vary from day to day and lunch to dinner. If staying for more days we would have felt that we would have to leave the property for variation food wise. Other than that everything was great.

Bed was okay and the place was quiet. Decent breakfast.

This place has potential, and it was not a disaster - but for the price we paid for a 1 night stay (300 euros including breakfast and pet fee for a fairly basic room) we were disappointed. When we arrived we were told there was no space for dinner - that surprised us as hotels normally either keep some tables for the guests, OR reach out a few days before to inform they're busy and you have to reserve. There was no contact apart from some automated blurb at reservation time. Lack of staff in the bar and having to chase them even for a glass of wine. Despite lack of lift, no help was offered with luggage. The seating in the pool area was madly uncomfortable - looks inviting, but without back cushions it was impossible to relax. None of this is the end of the world, and I'd be totally happy if the price (out of season!) was not so extortionate - but when you charge per night like a high level 4 or even 5 star hotel, people will have expectations to match. We stayed in some gorgeous places with engaged staff that cost half this.
