Property is newly renovated and nicely done. The bed was very comfortable. We had the breakfast and dinner meal plan and overall the food was tasty. The staff were all attentive and friendly, especially Stefan who was everywhere all the time! We had a rental car and were able to find street parking close to the hotel every day. There is a grocery store across the street for snacks/drinks. There was a screw up with the reservation from this website and they could've charged us for 2 rooms rightfully so but they were nice enough to only charge us for the 1. Location is great, you're close enough to old town Chania but far enough to feel like you've got some room to breathe.
You can tell they've got a staffing issue they're trying to work out. The employees that are there are really kind and doing their best. There are not heat lamps or blankets offered at dinner so it was quite chilly and I ended up using my beach towel to try and stay warm. The pool was cold, so I'm not sure if it was malfunctioning or not actually heated. The rooms are attended to every 2 days rather than every day, it would be really nice to have it every day, this could be part of the staffing issue though so it wasn't that big of a deal.

The room was clean, modernly furnished, and comfortable, with internet access, Netflix, air conditioning, and a fan, which proved very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and on our last day we arranged an airport transfer through them. The beach is beautiful, with sun loungers always available, as well as a shower.
The overall concept of the hotel is very well thought out, but it is evident that a bit more organization is needed, particularly in the restaurant. It often took 1.5–2 hours from the time we sat down to when all courses were served, which can be quite inconvenient if you have plans. I would attribute this either to understaffing or to guests not following the “eating times” set with the receptionist on the first day. We also felt the menu lacked variety, as the pretty same dishes were offered throughout the seven days. The food itself was underwhelming — generally bland, unfinished in terms of taste, and with poorly balanced portions.
Another downside was the pool area, which is located among the dining tables. As a result, swimming before 11 a.m. and after 7 p.m. was practically impossible, since guests were dining around the pool.
